Course Attended: A1.1 Spanish Course
Duration: 26 April 2026 – 4 June 2026
I recently completed the A1.1 Spanish course at Instituto Cervantes New Delhi, located on Hanuman Road in Connaught Place, just behind the famous Hanuman Mandir.
My overall experience was excellent. The quality of teaching is very high, and the learning environment is professional, welcoming, and well-organized. The institute provides a great atmosphere for anyone who is serious about learning Spanish.
A special mention goes to my teacher, Ramita Menon. She is an outstanding teacher who explained concepts clearly and made the lessons easy to understand. Whenever I had doubts, she patiently addressed them and ensured that every student could follow the course comfortably. Her teaching style played a major role in helping me successfully complete the A1.1 level.
Apart from the teaching staff, I was equally impressed by the non-teaching administrative team. The administrative staff is polite, professional, and always willing to help students with course-related queries and formalities. Their friendly attitude makes the overall experience much smoother and more pleasant.
I would also like to appreciate the security staff. The guards are often the first people you meet when entering the institute each day, and they are always courteous, welcoming, warm-hearted, and smiling. Their positive attitude creates a friendly atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
The institute maintains excellent hygiene standards. The classrooms are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable for learning. The overall campus atmosphere is calm and conducive to study.
Another advantage is the library, which is available for students. It provides a quiet space for reading and self-study. Students are expected to maintain silence there, making it a perfect place to focus on learning.
The institute also had a cafeteria during most of my course period. However, by the time my session ended on 4 June 2026, the cafeteria had closed after the expiration of its operating contract.
Overall, my experience at Instituto Cervantes was highly positive. For anyone in Delhi—or even those coming from outside the city—who wants to learn Spanish from qualified instructors in a professional environment, this is one of the best places to do so.

If you are looking to learn Spanish in India, Instituto Cervantes is undoubtedly one of the best institutions to consider. My six-week learning journey here was enjoyable, productive, and highly rewarding. 🇪🇸📚✨
Hello swati this side !!The Spanish teacher I loved the most is Yash Sir and Manikiran Ma’am also evelyn. They teach with so much patience and kindness. They never get angry if we make mistakes. Instead, they explain everything again and again until we understand properly. Their way of teaching is very clear and interesting, which makes learning Spanish easy and fun.
When i was in b1.1Im so nervous Yash Sir always motivates us to speak confidently in Spanish, even if our grammar is not perfect. He believes that practice is more important than fear. Manikiran Ma’am is very calm and supportive. She listens to every student carefully and clears all doubts with a smile.
Because of them, I started loving the Spanish language more. They make the class comfortable and positive. I feel lucky to have teachers like them who teach not only the language but also patience and confidence

The teaching methodology is top-notch, with highly skilled instructors who ensure an interactive and immersive learning process. The café is a perfect spot to relax, offering delicious snacks and a cozy ambiance. Plus, the parking area is well-managed, making accessibility hassle-free. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced learner, this place is pure gold! Highly recommended!
I visited this place recently to attend an event and these are my observations;
1. The premise is very well maintained and things are organised.
2. The staff here is well behaved and polite.
3. I visited this place to attend "Long Nights of Literature" and I liked the event very much.
4. This place is at a walking distance from Rajiv Chowk Metro Station, it's around 700 m from station.
5. I will recommend this place to people who want to learn about Spanish Culture, Arts and interested in learning Spanish language.
The best place in India to learn Spanish language. Though it may appear to be costly, but in the longer run it will be economical, I feel.
The Instituto Cervantes is a non-profit organization founded by the Government of Spain in 1991. Its mission is to promote Spanish language teaching as well as that of Spain’s co-official languages, in addition to fostering knowledge of the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries throughout the world.
