Interning at the clinic under Dr. Atmesh Kumar sir and Ms. Ria Kalra ma’am was a truly valuable experience. The environment was professional, supportive, and offered rich exposure to real-world clinical work.
Dr. Atmesh Kumar’s psychiatric consultations gave me a deeper understanding of diagnosis and medication management,
while Ms. Ria Kalra’s therapeutic approach helped me connect theory with practice. I observed a variety of cases, including anxiety, depression, substance use, and child behavior issues, and learned about therapeutic techniques like CBT and REBT.
This internship significantly strengthened my clinical knowledge and confidence. I’m grateful for the mentorship I received and highly recommend this clinic to other students pursuing clinical Psychology.
