I recently attended a retirement party at SL House Banquet Hall in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi, and I must say, the experience was truly delightful. From the moment I entered, the ambiance set the tone for a warm and celebratory evening. The hall is beautifully designed, with tasteful décor and a cozy yet elegant atmosphere—perfect for a gathering of close friends, family, and colleagues.
The seating arrangements were comfortable and spacious, accommodating the large guest list without feeling overcrowded. What stood out to me the most was the staff—they were courteous, attentive, and ensured that everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. Whether it was serving drinks, guiding guests, or managing the buffet, they handled it all with professionalism and a smile.
The food deserves a special mention. The spread included both North Indian and Chinese dishes, and everything I tried was delicious. The paneer tikka was soft and well-marinated. Even the desserts—gulab jamun and ice cream—were served warm and fresh.
The lighting and audio setup were also impressive. The speeches and live music were clearly audible, and the lighting added a festive touch without being too harsh. The stage area was well lit and made for a great backdrop for photos.
SL House Banquet Hall offered a memorable experience. It struck the perfect balance between elegance and comfort, making it an ideal venue for personal celebrations like retirements, anniversaries, or milestone birthdays. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-managed and aesthetically pleasing venue in South Delhi.
I enjoyed dancing to the Pahadi song and it felt like the wedding was taking place in Uttarakhand. The decorations were really good and the food was also very good. The staff was also very good.

S L House Delhi is a decent venue for events. It's spacious and well-maintained, with simple, elegant decor. Food is average, with a decent variety, and service is satisfactory, though sometimes a bit slow. The staff are polite and helpful. A big plus is the convenient Malviya Nagar location and ample parking. While the sound system and lighting could be improved, and pricing could be more competitive, overall it's a good option for events.
They are mid end banquet hall. Not the neatest or cleanest. There are signs of wear and tear everywhere like the chairs or cushions or mattresses are torn and ripped.
But the place works. Did a good organization and the food was quite good. Simple menu where everything was tasty and well cooked. Utensils were fine.
