I created many storytelling videos at Red Dash Media, but today I want to share my own story.

My experience at the company was mentally exhausting and highly unprofessional. I was terminated without any proper notice period, HR process, warning mail, or professional communication. Ironically, work-from-home was commonly allowed, but when I requested it once during a genuine emergency, I was denied and my day was marked as an off because “there wasn’t much work in the company ( Aj company me kam nhi h to chutti lagegi)” and forced to resign.

The company blamed my “performance,” but ignored the unfair internal issues I repeatedly raised with management and the owner, Ashish. Tasks in the tracker system were delayed only for me, my score started unfairly in negative numbers and for others it started from 0, and despite multiple discussions, no action was taken. Meanwhile, Only I was terminated whereas, others with similar negative numbers faced no consequences.

Work culture became toxic over time constant policy changes, late-night meetings after office hours, Saturdays were off but forced to work on Saturdays, and employees being forced to stay till 9–9:30 PM while still being penalized for being even 2 minutes late the next day.

Salary processing was also delayed every month, usually credited on 15th or after. Promises made during hiring regarding increments were later completely denied despite extra hours, weekends, and workload handled by employees.

What disturbed me most was the workplace environment itself. I witnessed an employee being physically assaulted inside the office by outsiders and beaten very badly to this the owner Ashish response was nothing and standing as an audience, not helping out his employer. Instead of properly supporting the employee after such a serious incident, management was more focused on stopping him from taking legal action and discouraging him from filing or continuing an FIR against the people involved.

In another case, a female employee became so mentally disturbed and traumatized due to the work environment and pressure that she eventually had to start taking therapy sessions.

I repeatedly requested a direct meeting with the owner and management to explain my side, but those requests were ignored. Even on my last working day, the owner refused to meet me. When I finally spoke on call regarding my termination, it felt as if he was unaware of the actual situation happening inside his own company.

A professional company should value transparency, fair evaluation, employee respect, timely salaries, work-life balance, and a safe environment. Unfortunately, I did not experience any of that here.

Would not recommend this workplace to anyone looking for professionalism, stability, or a healthy work culture.
