My recent stay at Ibis was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The facilities were lovely, the room was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was incredibly welcoming.
What truly made this stay memorable, however, was the outstanding service. I want to specially thank Om Vir Singh, the staff member who helped with our luggage etc. He went completely above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
I recently stayed at the ibis New Delhi Aerocity to catch an early morning flight, and the location proved to be absolutely perfect for a stress-free departure.
The Highlights:
Accor Gold Recognition: I was greeted warmly during check-in and immediately offered my welcome drinks. The staff went above and beyond by providing a recently renovated room on the 7th floor, which was a fantastic gesture.
The Room: While the rooms are compact (as expected with the ibis brand), it was very cozy, clean, and well-designed. I also appreciated the welcome fruit platter waiting for me—a very thoughtful touch!
Dining: For a 3-star hotel, the dinner buffet was impressively huge with plenty of variety. I also tried the In-Room Dining; the food arrived in about 30 minutes, which was perfectly acceptable.
Area for Improvement:
The only major letdown was the packed breakfast. Since I had an early flight, I requested a breakfast box, but it was quite disappointing by Accor standards. It contained only two bananas and a very small sandwich. Given the quality of the rest of the stay, this felt very underwhelming and definitely needs improvement in terms of quantity and variety.
Verdict:
Overall, a great choice for transit and business travelers. The service from the front office team is excellent. If they can fix the breakfast box experience, it would be a 5-star stay!
Excellent stay with great hospitality. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food quality was outstanding, with a wide variety of options in the buffet. A special thanks to Rashi- INSPIRE for assisting me with a smooth check-in and check-out process. She was extremely polite, professional, and welcoming throughout. Her courteous behavior and prompt assistance truly enhanced my overall experience.
Everything was fresh and well-prepared. The staff was polite and attentive. Highly recommended, especially if you are booking a package with meals included.
This hotel is conveniently located about a 15-minute drive from the airport, which makes it a solid option for short stays or transit nights. Overall, it was a good and comfortable stay.
The reception staff were helpful and responsive. The hotel has a nice swimming pool, which was a pleasant bonus. Breakfast was also good and tasty. While there weren’t many protein options, everything was fresh and enjoyable. This was my first trip to India, so I can’t compare it to other hotels here, but the breakfast met expectations overall.
The room was bright, with large windows that let in plenty of light. Initially, I thought having windows that open might be nice, but given the air quality in New Delhi, it actually makes sense that they don’t open. It’s probably better for comfort and health.
The only downside was that the bathroom fan didn’t work. Other than that, the stay was smooth, clean, and comfortable. A practical and reliable choice near the airport.
