I am very thankful to doctor Ankit for helping me through a very difficult phase in my life. I was mentally traumatized, but with his guidance, support, and effective medicines, I was able to recover and feel much better. Truly grateful for his care and kindness. It was a good mental healthcare. High recommended the doctor.

I visited this clinic during heavy rain in Delhi, expecting professional mental-health care. Based on Instagram reels and Google reviews, I believed the practice to be genuine. Unfortunately, my experience raised serious concerns.

The consultation lasted barely 5–7 minutes and being charged ₹2000 as an exchange of words only . There was no genuine effort to listen to my background, emotional state, or feedback. When someone visits a psychiatrist—especially in India, where mental health is still taboo—it usually means they are already dealing with something difficult. Empathy and patience are not optional; they are fundamental.

Despite clearly stating that I did not want medication, I was immediately prescribed medicines and strongly pushed to buy them—sold directly at the clinic counter at MRP. This felt like a conflict of interest rather than a patient-centred approach. The only “diagnosis” given was to run for one hour daily and take the medicines.

Additionally, I was shown a separate rate chart for speaking to a psychologist, starting at ₹3000 for 30 minutes, which felt transactional rather than therapeutic.

Mental-health professionals are expected to follow ethical standards: listening, informed consent, and compassion. My experience felt more like a business transaction than medical care.

This review is not written in anger, but as an honest account of what I experienced on a rainy night when I was genuinely seeking help. If negative star ratings were possible, I would have chosen that option.

Please be cautious and make an informed decision before visiting.

I had a very disappointing experience at Dr. Ankit Daral’s clinic in Punjabi Bagh. The consultation and waiting area were the same, offering no privacy or confidentiality, which is extremely inappropriate for a psychiatry setup. Even after I raised this concern, 4-5 patients were sitting in the back during my session/appointment. The clinic felt more like a dispensary than a professional mental health space.
I also found the doctor’s behaviour rude and lacking empathy. His tone was dismissive and intimidating, and some of his remarks were outright inappropriate. As a patient, I felt unheard and uncomfortable throughout the consultation.
While writing this review, I also went through others’ feedback carefully and was surprised to see that many people have faced similar experiences finding him rude, impatient, and lacking compassion. This clearly shows it’s not just my personal experience, but a recurring issue.
